- קוֹצָהII f. madder, a plant used in dying red. Shebi. VII, 1 (Ms. M. קוֹצָא). Y.Maasr.V, end, 52a. Y.Pes.III, beg.29d (ref. to זומן של צבעים) דו יהב בגויה קוצםוכ׳ (corr. acc.) he (the dyer) puts the madder into it to make it adhesive (v. זיֹמָא I).
